#GovTech Case Study2026
Tax Services
The case shows how AMEDIA brings the main tax operations of citizens and small businesses into a single digital process: up-to-date payment details, prepared returns and payment information are provided directly from the state’s own systems, so users no longer need to search for payment details or switch between separate government services.
01 — OVERVIEW
Returns, certificates and payments in one place
Digital tax services are a set of electronic services on the Diia portal that simplify tax compliance for citizens and individual entrepreneurs. Users can carry out key tax operations online — from viewing information and preparing documents to filing a tax return, obtaining a certificate, and making a payment.
An additional component of the product is the Tax Cabinet, which gives individual entrepreneurs a single point of access to up-to-date tax information, completed payments, and the status of their settlements with the budget.
Purpose of the product
Bring the main tax operations of citizens and individual entrepreneurs into a single digital process and minimise the number of manual actions.
What the product changes
Users no longer need to search for payment details themselves, switch between different government services, or repeatedly enter information that is already held in government information systems.
